ACB Action in Sojat: Municipal Contract Worker Caught Accepting ₹25,000 Bribe for Land Lease Document

Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a major operation in Sojat, Pali, where municipal contractual worker Parmanand was caught accepting a ₹25,000 bribe for preparing a land lease document. The trap action was executed by ASP Derawar Singh Soda under the directions of ADG Smita Srivastava.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has carried out a major operation in Sojat, Pali, trapping a contractual worker of the Municipal Council while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹25,000. The accused, identified as Parmanand, was caught during the trap operation conducted by the ACB team.

According to the details available, the accused had allegedly demanded the bribe in exchange for preparing a land lease document. Following information regarding the demand, the ACB team planned and executed the operation, leading to the accused being caught while accepting the illegal payment.

The action was carried out by Additional Superintendent of Police Derawar Singh Soda. The operation was conducted under the directions of Additional Director General Smita Srivastava.

The ACB action against the municipal contractual worker highlights the agency’s continued efforts to take strict action against corruption and officials involved in demanding illegal gratification from citizens for administrative services.
